We headed out to the Desert in September and checked out some paragliding in the dunes with Sheikh Ahmed. Joe, Nick and I took a ride in his dune buggy and headed up to the top of the dunes where we watched from the top of the paragliders enjoying the early morning breezes. Definitely looks like a fun thing to do once you get comfortable flying the kite. They said if you went accidentally went over the back side of the dune, you were screwed, maybe not as easy and peaceful as it looks.


After we got a chance to check out the Car Museum near by, which is a collection of cars which belong to Sheikh Ahmed's brother, Sheikh Hamad, who is more commonly referred to as the Rainbow Sheikh. Besides the hundreds of cars he owns, he used to drive have 7 Mercedes in different colors of the rainbow that he would drive each week. This musesum full of cars, trucks, even a plane was insane. There were was even a dodge pick up truck that was like 30 times bigger then a regular truck, but all built to spec and inside was a house! No joke, crazy.
