A quick little post from Japan. One of my office mates came in and said that there are two ladies pulling weeds out in the courtyard with hard hats on. I had to see this. So I went out and took these two photos. I took the first close-up to see the hard hats and the second to show there is no scaffolding or construction around them (i.e. there's no point to wearing one!). That's just how things are done here.
