Jaco beach was about a 10 minute walk from the school. The main drag in Jaco was filled with board shops, restaurants, bars and typical tourist shops. We got very familiar with the local pharmacies as Nick needed quite a bit of antibiotics for his stings all over his body!

We ventured out most nights for dinner and drinks and at least my favorite meal was at a local Soda. Sodas are the little mom and pops restaurants, the local, cheap ones that serve up rice, beans, meat and fish and our first go here was delicious.
